BRISTOL, Conn.— Bristol Hospital extends a special thank you to the Bristol Girl Scouts for a generous donation to the Families are First Birthing Center.
As part of their annual "Baby Daisy" Project, the girls collected baby items—including diapers, wipes and outfits—and donated those to the first baby girl born at Families are First on or after Halloween. The Bristol Girl Scout "Baby Daisy" Project was completed in honor of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low, who was born on Oct. 31, 1860.
Known as “Daisy,” Low founded Girl Scouts of the USA in 1912. Today, the Girl Scouts serve millions of girl members and alumnae, and reflect her remarkable life.
