  • We all know other smokers. Make an effort to avoid socializing when others are smoking since it will make you crave a cigarette even more.
  • Take tobacco out of your normal routine. We know it’s harder than it sounds, but your quit plan will help you make it happen
  • Occupy your mouth. When a craving hits, use gum, mints, a straw, or toothpick to occupy your mouth
  • Picture it! Put a photo of what you’re going to buy with your cigarette savings on your phone so that you’re reminded of what you’re working toward.
