Caring Today for Your Tomorrow

About Us

A long-standing and continued commitment to the well-being of our community.

Central Connecticut's Trusted Healthcare System

We’ve cared for your health for the last 100 years, and we’re committed to continuing to care for you for many more. As a complete network of local and community-based services, we are focused on keeping you and your loved ones at your best. We’re so much more than a hospital; we are Bristol Health.

Founded in 1921, we continue to be the leading health provider for those who live and work in the Greater Bristol area. Our organization has earned national recognition for its commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Our hospital has 154 licensed beds and offers a complete range of patient services including a first-rate emergency center that cares for more than 40,000 patients each year.

As healthcare has changed through the years, so have we. Having grown from a community hospital (founded in 1921) to an integrated network that provides a full-continuum of services - both inpatient and outpatient - Bristol Hospital and Healthcare Group, in 2019, became Bristol Health. The name change better reflects our integrated network of providers and the full scope of care we have offered the community for years. The organization's name has changed, but its commitment to the highest quality, compassionate and advanced care remains.

Our Mission & Vision

Mission: Caring today for your tomorrow
Vision: Advancing the health of our community by providing integrated, innovative and individualized care.

What does it mean to care today for your tomorrow? Simply put, it is to provide accessible and convenient care, focused on wellness and prevention, all delivered to the highest quality. As healthcare has changed throughout the years, so have we. With now more than 20 locations, we've grown from a community hospital to an intergrated network providing a full-continuum of services.

We have 20 locations throughout central Connecticut, making access to care more accessible than ever.
Our integrated network consists of over 100 primary and specialty care providers.
